The latest Super Duty F-250 and F-350 pickups are available with three different engine configurations. However, all models have automatic 10-speed transmissions and standard rear-wheel drive, with four-wheel drive as an available option.

Gas-powered engines include the standard 6.8-liter V8 that puts out 400 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. For more power, you might prefer a Super Duty equipped with the 7.3-liter V8 that delivers up to 430 horsepower and 485 pound-feet of torque.

Fans of diesel versions might select a truck having the base turbocharged 6.7-liter V8 engine that generates 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque. There's also a High-Output version of the same setup that can provide you with an impressive 500 horsepower and 1,200 pound-feet of torque for your Philadelphia work.

The F-250 Super Duty trucks have a towing capacity of up to 22,000 pounds when properly equipped. The pickups have a maximum payload rating of up to 4,268 pounds. On the other hand, the F-350 Super Duty trucks have the ability to pull up to 40,000 pounds and have a payload rating of up to 8,000 pounds.

Ford Super Duty Exterior and Interior Design

Each of the Super Duty Trucks is available with a three-passenger Regular Cab or a six-passenger SuperCab or Crew Cab. Truck beds are available in 6.75- or 8-foot lengths. Pickups with the regular cabs come standard with the longer bed while models with the larger cabs can have either size bed. New owners also have the option of adding dual rear tires to the F-350 models.

Basic cab interiors are upholstered in fabric. However, stepping up to the XLT level adds a power-adjustable driver's seat. Lariat models feature upscale leather upholstered interiors with power-adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats. Rear seats and the steering wheel are also heated. King Ranch, Limited and Platinum level models add level specific style elements. Platinum models also gain a panoramic sunroof.

Ford Super Duty Technological Amenities

The list of standard tech features are the same on all base Super Duty trucks and increase when added on as options or when advancing up the trim level ladder. You can look forward to the convenience of keyless entry and push-button start on some Super Duty trims. The standard SYNC® 4 infotainment system has an 8-inch touchscreen and provides Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. Higher trim levels provide a larger 12-inch touchscreen. Bluetooth® audio streaming and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot give Cherry Hill drivers even more connectivity on long drives.
